About the tool

What is SEO Bee?

SEO Bee is an SEO crawler that runs on your computer. It crawls a site the way a search engine does, reads every page and sorts the findings into 32 tabs: response codes, page titles, meta descriptions, canonicals, hreflang, images, structured data and more. What is in each tab.

Can SEO Bee crawl JavaScript sites?

Yes. With JavaScript rendering switched on, each page opens in the built-in Chromium, so the bee sees the content a visitor sees. How to switch it on.

Can it crawl a site behind a login?

Yes, through a login form or Basic auth. Use test accounts only, never a real account that can delete things or make purchases.

How many URLs can the bee crawl?

With a licence, the tool sets no limit. The real limit is your computer's memory and free disk space.

Licence and pricing

What can I do for free?

The free version crawls up to 500 URLs per crawl and covers the basic checks: response codes, page titles, meta descriptions, directives, hreflang, exact duplicates, XML sitemaps and export to CSV and Excel.

What do I get with a licence?

Crawls with no limit, crawl settings, saved crawls, JavaScript rendering, schedules, crawl comparison, Search Console and GA4, local Lighthouse, accessibility checks, data extraction, AI queries, segments, a client report and support by email. The full table.

How many users does one licence cover?

One licence is for one user. Two users need two licences. From 5 licences up, the price per licence is lower.

How much does a licence cost?

For 1 to 4 licences: €14.99 a month, €159.99 a year or €599.99 once. For 5 to 9 licences: €12.99, €139.99 or €499.99. For 10 to 19: €9.99, €119.99 or €399.99. For 20 or more: €7.99, €99.99 or €299.99 per licence. Price calculator.

What happens when my licence expires?

SEO Bee keeps working as the free version, with a limit of 500 URLs per crawl. Your saved crawls stay on your disk.

Data and privacy

Where is my crawl data stored?

On your computer. Each crawl is a single file on your disk. The crawl does not go through our server, and we cannot see which sites you crawl.

Invoices and payment

How do I get an invoice for my purchase?

The invoice comes by email with every purchase, and you can always find it in your account on the website, under Orders and invoices. Log in.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, in your account under Subscriptions. The licence works until its expiry date and does not renew.
