Exports, bulk exports and reports

Export one tab and filter, whole tables of links and images, or a ready-made report as CSV and Excel. Plus a report for your client.

Exporting one tab and filter

The Export button above the table exports the tab and filter you're looking at, with the columns you've chosen. The formats are CSV and Excel (XLSX). CSV files are UTF-8 with a marker Excel recognises, so accented characters such as č, ć, š, ž and đ stay readable.

If the crawl is still running, the export contains what the crawler has found up to that point.

Bulk export

For whole tables, not just one filter, use Bulk export: all links with every source and target, all images, all headers, saved pages. Each table goes into its own file.

A typical example: a developer asks for every link that points to a 404, with the address of the page it sits on. That is one bulk export, not a hundred clicks by hand.

Reports

Reports combine data from several tabs into one table. A few of them:

ReportWhat it shows
Crawl overviewCounts per tab and filter for the whole crawl.
Error overviewEvery issue with its severity and number of URLs.
Redirect chainsEvery chain from the first address to the last, with the number of hops.
Redirects ending in an errorChains whose final address returns a 4xx or 5xx.
Hreflang without return linkLanguage pairs where the other page doesn't link back.
Orphan pages from sitemapSitemap addresses that no crawled page links to.

Client report

A ready-made PDF audit for your client, with your company name, website and contact details. The report is built as an HTML page that you open in your browser and print to PDF. It holds the key numbers and the issues sorted by importance, written in language the client understands.

XML sitemap and site copy

From a crawl you can build an XML sitemap of the indexable pages, as described in the sitemap tutorial. If saving resources is turned on, you can also export a copy of the site that opens from disk, as an archive before a redesign.
